About Susan Lewis

I am a qualified Aromatherapist, Reflexologist, Reiki Master as well as auricular thermal therapy (Hopi Ear Candles) and Indian head massage.

Prior to qualifying in these therapies I worked in adult social care as a qualified social worker. I moved from social work and became a Regulatory Inspector for adult social care, inspecting adult care services. Through this work I developed a passion for providing high quality services to older people, especially people living with dementia.

As part of my ongoing development in 2019 I qualified to provide massage to people living with dementia. In 2021 I successfully completed my Certificate in Palliative Care and Complimentary therapy. I feel strongly ‘touch therapies’ can and do improve people’s quality of life. This includes specific health issues such as rheumatoid arthritis or ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis). Also known as chronic fatigue syndrome. It can help manage people’s stress and challenges thrown up by modern life.
